Elderly Care
One of the most prevalent fears amongst those growing older is the loss of independence. Quality Care Services (QCS) understands that concern completely. That’s why our charter holds each client’s independence as paramount. We always work to ensure clients reside in their own homes whenever possible with as much control over their own lives.
QCS aims to support clients however we can, from help with everyday tasks, like cleaning, housework, cooking, shopping, laundry and admin, to help with bathing, showering, using the toilet and even higher-level clinical or nursing support. In many cases, our care assistants help clients to see family and friends, lead social lives and enjoy time outside of the house.
We also supply care assistants who are trained to assist with specific age-related conditions like dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
Our elderly care services are bespoke to each client. Each care plan is tailored in partnership with the client to take into account their unique needs, goals and aspirations. We initially set goals and desired personal outcomes and our ultimate successes are measured against those. This ‘person-centred’ approach gives our older clients more choice and control over when, and how, their support is provided.
We take care to match our clients with a suitable care assistant to ensure an appropriate fit for both skill and personality. Our staff should serve as companions, not just helpers.
